Nashville Weed Wrangle Wins Award

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 16, 2024) – The Garden Club of Nashville’s Weed Wrangle® was selected as the Winner of the 2024 Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Award in the Natural Resource Category.

The Tennessee Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Awards are the most prestigious environmental and conservation awards in the state. The awards are designed to bring about a greater knowledge and awareness of effective practices and projects and to give proper recognition to those persons and organizations that make outstanding contributions to the natural resources of their community and the state.

On behalf of The Garden Club of Nashville, a member of The Garden Club of America, we want to give special thanks to each of you for hosting years of Weed Wrangle events in your public parks and green spaces across the great state of Tennesse.
